He teaches Film Media, and Dance at Valor Christian High School, and is also the Founder and Director of Momentum Global. He has been involved in Anti Trafficking for over 5 years and desires to eradicate it through mobilizing the local, national and global community. The SHIFT Justice Conference was his original brainchild. He challenged 6 high school students to make a stand against commercial Sex Trafficking here locally in Denver and around the world. Since then, he is now mobilizing many other students from many high schools locally to get involved and he is also mentoring them on how to design and produce a compelling conference that will mobilize the audience to take action. John was an abandoned child in Suwon Korea until he was adopted at the age of 6. This topic of Children who are being Trafficked weighs very heavy on his heart, and he has a passionate desire to heal the broken and wounded, serve the poorest of the poor, and give a voice to the voiceless.

As a successful water resource engineer over ten years, Josh pursued the ‘American Dream’ and oversaw water development projects throughout the United States. He took his first trip to Nepal in November 2011 and he had a crisis of encounter that turned his world upside right. From that moment, his life shifted into the passionate service of carrying hope to the children of the Himalayas with MountainChild. Josh is fortunate to serve with MountainChild as the US National Director of Operations where he oversees development, mobilization, cultivating and empowering relationships, strategy, and advocating for the precious children in the most remote villages of Nepal. Josh is a Colorado native and lives in Parker with his beautiful wife Courtney, and two children, Caleb and Abigail-Grace.
